In the role of Online Visual Merchandising Assistant, you will be part of improving the shopping experience on www.coop.com.au
You will learn key strategies in e-commerce, digital merchandising, online marketing, and maintenance of a large catalogue of products, with one of australias largest websites measured on products.
Hours: Casual. Minimum 10h/week
Location: The Co-op Head Office, Ultimo
Reporting to: E-commerce Manager

What you will be doing.
Merchandise category pages and product pages to ensure visual appeal and aesthetics are optimal.
Liaise with buying and marketing teams, to create visual themes and feature pages.
Monitor competitor websites to highlight new categories, products and identify trends.
Analyse best sellers to ensure optimal product placements.
Monitor onsite product presentations to ensure standard is met across the site.
Assist in building out feature pages to ensure optimal presentation.
Communicate with partners and product vendors, to gather material.
You have a great sense of design, and visual aesthetics.
Pedantic eye for details.
Great analytical skills.
Perfect english and copywriting skills.
Excellent communication and follow up skills.
Commercially savvy. You can independently prioritise your tasks based on their expected outcome.
You are confident with IT, and content management systems.
Great organisational skills.
Previous experience with blogging systems, e-commerce systems, or other content management systems will be an advantage but not a requirement.
