We are an Australian owned, membership based not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to providing the widest range of products and learning resources for our Members at the best possible price. We were created by students and our customer service continues throughout your book buying life. Whether its textbooks, professional titles, reading for leisure - The Co-op has the range and resources to make sure you can get what you need.

Being a Co-op Member gives you access to more than books. We provide discounts and Member benefits across many product categories such as clothing, gift ware, stationery, travel and leisure, digital technology, beauty, telecommunication’s, games and gadgets - we are your partner in achieving savings and value. Whether you are shopping at one of our 51 locations around Australia, or through Co-op Online, you are being cared for by a team of experienced and committed staff who aim to deliver the best in customer service and assistance to our Members.

In 2012 we returned more than $8 million to our Members through scholarship’s, Member pricing and supported many university campus activities and organisations through sponsorships and donations. We also support indigenous literacy programs in Australia, particularly the ILF (Indigenous Literacy Foundation) and AIME (The Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience).
