Using his fame, in 2007 John Green created a Youtube account with his brother Hank Green, called VlogBrothers. They’ve also launched other ventured including Project For Awesome to “decrease worldsuck”, and Vidcon. Together the two brothers have created over 10 online series’ including a Crash Course on literature, history, science and other topics to educate the youth on world issues.
